SnapKey does not collect, sell, or share your personal data. It contains no analytics, tracking, or advertising.
Your snippets, settings, and license status are saved only in your browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local). They never leave your computer unless you export a backup file yourself.
SnapKey reads the text you type into text fields only to detect your shortcuts and insert snippets. Nothing you type is stored or sent anywhere. If a snippet uses {clipboard}, your clipboard is read at that moment to insert it. It is never saved or sent.
If you buy SnapKey Pro and enter a license key, the key and a device label are sent to Lemon Squeezy (api.lemonsqueezy.com), our payment provider and merchant of record, to activate and periodically validate the license. Your purchase is handled under Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy. SnapKey makes no other network requests.
SnapKey is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone.
Any updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
